Mais de 18,3 milhões de sacas de 60 quilos de café foram exportadas pelo Porto de Santos entre janeiro e o mês passado. O volume sofreu pequena variação negativa de 0,89% em relação aos embarques realizados no mesmo período do ano passado pelo cais santista. Entretanto, o complexo marítimo ampliou de 77,7% para 79,9% a participação nas exportações da commodity.
Os dados fazem parte do levantamento mensal do Conselho dos Exportadores de Café do Brasil (Cecafé), divulgado nesta semana. Nos primeiros setes meses do ano, as exportações brasileiras do produto atingiram 22,9 milhões de sacas. A receita gerada foi de US$ 3 bilhões (R$ 14,7 bilhões), crescimento de 29% em relação ao período anterior. Já o preço médio da saca foi de US$ 128,90, registrando crescimento de 3,2%.
