Redução está restrita a 400 mil toneladas de arroz em casca e beneficiado
O Comitê-Executivo de Gestão (Gecex) da Câmara de Comércio Exterior (Camex) decidiu zerar a alíquota do imposto de importação para o arroz em casca e beneficiado até 31de dezembro deste ano.
A redução temporária está restrita à quota de 400 mil toneladas, incidente nos produtos abarcados pelos códigos 1006.10.92 (arroz com casca não parboilizado) e 1006.30.21 (arroz semibranqueado ou branqueado, não parboibilizado) da Nomenclatura Comum do Mercosul (NCM).
A decisão foi tomada nesta quarta-feira (9/9), durante a 8ª Reunião Extraordinária do Gecex , por proposta do Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento.
Sobre o Gecex
O Comitê-Executivo de Gestão (Gecex) é o núcleo executivo colegiado da Camex, responsável por definir alíquotas de importação e exportação, fixar medidas de defesa comercial, internalizar regras de origem de acordos comerciais, entre outras atribuições.
Segundo o Decreto 10.044/2019, o Gecex é integrado pela Presidência da República, pelos Ministérios da Economia, das Relações Exteriores e da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento.
