REPETRO

REPETRO is a special customs regime that allows the specific equipment to be used directly on oil and natural gas research and mining activities importation, without the federal taxes incidence – II, IPI, PIS and COFINS, as well as the freight additional to the Merchant Navy renewal – AFRMM.

These taxes remain with its demandability suspended by the time of use on the regime, and its extinction is expected in case of the regime admitted equipment re-exportation.

REPETRO is applicable to the included goods on the single annex of Normative Instruction RFB 1.415 and may also be applied to machinery and spare parts, tools, appliances and other parts and pieces intended to ensure the single annex assets, since its use is directly related to the activities of oil mining and natural gas research.
