Foram necessárias somente 24h para que o Porto do Pecém conquistasse um novo recorde na operação de embarque das placas de aço produzidas pela Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP), instalada na ZPE Ceará (Zona de Processamento de Exportação do Ceará) – empresa subsidiária do Complexo do Pecém. No último sábado (18) foram carregadas 34.169,82 toneladas de placas de aço. Esse é o maior volume desse tipo de carga já embarcado em exatas 24h de operação.
“Estamos extremamente entusiasmados com o resultado dessa operação. Nosso time operacional fez novamente a diferença junto aos nossos equipamentos, que estão entre os mais modernos equipamentos portuários do Ceará. Ou seja, já são quase quatro anos acumulados de experiência no embarque de placas de aço. Todo esse tempo nos credencia a sermos hoje referência brasileira nesse tipo de operação”, afirma Waldir Sampaio, diretor Executivo de Operações do Complexo do Pecém
O ápice da operação ocorreu entre 12h e 18h do sábado passado, quando foram embarcadas 467 placas de aço. A operação foi executada por duas prestadoras de serviços operacionais (PSOs) do Porto do Pecém: Tecer Terminais (815 placas embarcadas) e Unilink Transportes Integrados (759 placas embarcadas).
“Diante dos constantes investimentos em equipamentos e qualificação de pessoal obtemos uma movimentação recorde no embarque de placas, o que proporciona uma redução significativa na estadia e no custo do navio. Em um cenário de incertezas na economia, o Complexo do Pecém e seus prestadores de serviços dão uma demonstração de excelência e melhoria contínua em suas operações portuárias, aumentando o potencial de atração de novos investimentos para nosso Estado”, diz Marcus Albuquerque, sócio diretor da Unilink Transportes Integrados.
Para o gerente comercial da Tecer Terminais, Carlos Alberto, a busca por intensificar a produtividade da Tecer está diretamente ligada ao crescimento do Complexo do Pecém. “Buscamos sempre aperfeiçoar a técnica e alinhar com as demandas do Porto. A economia do Ceará também está fortemente relacionada a movimentação de importação e exportação no Complexo e podemos maximizá-la através de logísticas funcionais, integradas e objetivas. É um trabalho que já vínhamos fazendo nos últimos anos e a cada mês só cresce”, conclui Carlos Alberto Nunes, gerente Comercial da Tecer Terminais.
A operação no navio MV TONG DA foi completamente concluída na tarde de ontem, quando foi finalizado o embarque de 2005 placas de aço, o equivalente a 43.506 toneladas. Toda a operação foi realizada em apenas 33 horas e 52 minutos, resultando em uma produtividade média de 1.284,65 toneladas por hora.
A embarcação desatracou do Pecém ainda ontem à noite em direção ao porto chinês de Zhangjiagang Huada, onde tem chegada prevista para o dia 25 de agosto. O novo recorde de produtividade nessa operação vem acompanhado do crescimento na movimentação específica desse tipo de carga no Porto do Pecém. Em junho desse ano foram embarcadas 218.837 toneladas de placas de aço, crescimento de 25,6 % em comparação com maio de 2020 quando foram embarcadas 174.223 toneladas.
